Grape variety : 100% Syrah.
The soils : The grapes come from the four vines of Syrah called Les Roures, Torrespeyres, Les Pins and First Vine. The outstanding quality of the 2010 vintage has permitted to assemble old and younger plots, deep clays and stony terraces.
Wine making : The grapes are hand-picked and taken to the winery in crates. The grapes are destalked and crushed directly above the vats with a portable destemming and crushing machine. The vatting period lasts about four weeks and then the wine is aged for two years in oak.
Remarks : The wine is of a deep dark color. The tight structure wraps the aromas, at present austere which evolue over time.
